Schulradioprojekt: YOUNG WILD & FREE – Lifestyles compared

In their programme “YOUNG WILD AND FREE – Lifestyles compared” students of the 6Ar, BG/BRG Bad Ischl, use their English language skills and passion for music to explore different concepts of lifestyles, regional and generational clichés and heartfelt realities in the world of 16-year-olds. They present impressions by friends from our partner school in Durham in the North of England, FM4 moderator Dave Dempsey and other people in Austria, perform a little radio play and sing about feelings of home- or the loss of it.

Supported by Andrea Csiki – a former student of BG Bad Ischl herself- and Evelyn Ritt from Freies Radio Salzkammergut, they had great fun switching from their traditional student roles as receivers and achievers to creators and designers of a radio show. As far as speaking English is concerned – perhaps it is, for all the doubts and insecurity and occasional lack of words – “the yellow of the egg”, after all?

ON AIR on Wednesday, 23rd of Mai at  9:00 am and again on Monday 28th of May at 6 pm!
